Calderon is an illegitimate dictator who has presided over a failed state run by drug cartels and crime bosses. For him to lecture the United States on how to run a country is like Pol Pot wagging the finger at someone for human rights abuses.
Mexico is a total police state where its inhabitants and anyone who dares visit are subjected to some of the most draconian and brutal law enforcement measures on the planet

Agreed. He is one of the last people to tell us how to run our immigration laws. Just read how Mexico runs their immigration process, and suddenly, having cops enforcing laws already on the books doesn’t seem so bad.
I used to go down to Nogales to help some of the homeless people that Mexico won’t help. My group and I would build houses (shacks compared to American standards, but to them, a mansion) for the families and it was quite a culture shock for me to see how controlling the government was over everything. And then the drug cartels got very bad, and the cops only became worse. One time the hotel we were staying in had two or three floors filled with cops, as they used it for a command center. And then the regulations on the materials we could bring in, and the amount of it, got very strict. What usually took one trip across the border for a flatbed, had to take either three trucks, or three trips. And now, the situation is getting so bad that we can’t even go down there anymore. My heart aches for the people we were helping, as their husbands and fathers had snuck into America to find work, and never contacted them again. Presumably, they were either killed on the way into America, or found a new life and forgot about their families in Mexico. So now there are families that have no source of income, and have to rely on the charity my group was giving.
So yeah, Mexico is one of the last ones to tell us how to run things. To me, they rank right up there with China.

The better question is how far will Obama take this pandering to Latino voters before they realize amnesty will never pass in Congress. Calderon, like Fox before him, is just desperate because illegal immigration to the US is the only pressure valve enabling Mexico to avoid the revolution it so desperately needs. Having a banana republic on one’s southern border only benefits the ultra elites in both countries. This trick of expecting the US middle and working class to support the social costs of Mexico’s poor won’t work for much longer. We just can’t afford it anymore. Mexico needs to step up and take care of its own underclass.

First of all it was Obama who invited Felipe Calderon to U.S.Second,it was Obama and other Americans that gave Calderon the freedom/asked HIM to express HIS own opinion.If they knew that Calderon could say anything he thought/liked then why did they asked for his opinion if they couldn’t handle the answer? 3rd)-U.S. can’t even solve its own immigration problems.Why or how does the U.S. expect a foreign president/government to solve their problems?Mexico and other countries already have problems of their own,they are not responsible for other countries.And if you whites/blacks don’t like to be dealing with Hispanics(NOT just MX)then you should have stayed in Europe/Africa where you came from.Nobody asked you to come or remain here.This is America and belongs to the real Americans,the Native Americans and their descendants.Hispanics(both legal and illegal)are more American than you.Whites are only European anchor babies.And they call Hispanics illegal?This punks need to go back to school and review their true History/ethnic background!!!!!
