The states can offer more protection than the US constitution...it cannot offer less. So as long as the state in question does not attempt to weaken your rights they will hold stronger than US but if a state were to attempt to remove a right that the US constitution protects, the US constitution rules

Yes. However, some may have even stronger, broader protections than the U.S. Constitution in certain areas.

The U.S. Constitution talks about the freedom of speech and religion. So if the U.S. Constitution mentions it, it is to be upheld in all the states. Any laws that are not listed in the U.S. Constitution, the state governments have the rights to pass or not pass such laws.

The USC does supersede, but if the USC does not affirm or deny a right, the state constitution can do so. Keep in mind that some of the states' constitutions were written before the states became a State.
