Why does Ameryca not allow gay marryge, in todays world, with freedom and rights?

Posted on May 4th, 2010 by admin

In todays world it is now 2010, why does Armerca, not allow gay marrige except like in Conneticut, and Masachoosits, and liberal places. I mean, I am for gay and lesbian marrige. Why does not country agree to these views, as it is a right Amercans have and civil rights and eqcuality. It is civil rights issue, so why is not legal? Plese explane, thank you.

Most of America does support equal rights. Unfortunately we have people like McCain and Bush who stand in opposition to the Constitution and say that America is a Christian nation (also not true) and continue to fight gay rights. Eventually and very soon we will have gay rights everywhere.

Because so many people are homophobes. Also, I think that some organizations may be paying politicians to bate against it. I agree that this is totaly against civil rights and equality laws. If you think about it, lgbt seems kinda like a religion because they are basicaly thoughts that effect the person’s decision, but do not affect anyone else. Same sex marrive needs to be legal.

Because they don’t want the controversy. America tends to have a ‘lets not deal with it mentality when it comes to morals.’ Women’s right and african american rights were like that too. They didn’t deal until protests began and havoc was wrecked, but even if the government would like to pretend to be busy they aren’t gonna do anything until they feel serious pressure from population. Lucky for us people are becoming more open to the idea of homosexuality they’re starting to realize it’s normal (Thank the media for that! Go Hollywood!) so eventually the government will have to legalize it. It’s only a matter of time before the majority of people (the smart, literate ones) realize the unfairness in the government. I mean hello. Civil Rights, Declaration of Independence. What the hell have people been figthing centuries for. We all bleed red don’t we? Jeesh. They’re just waiting for straight people to hop on the equal rights band wagon too. So it’s only a matter or time.. *sigh*

what about the rights and freedom of the hetero sexual couples to preserve the sanctity of marriage to remain between one man and one woman . forgetting about that one are you not ? the answer is obvious stop trying to infect the marriage and go for something like cival unnion to distinguish a union between gay partners
