Could someone once again explain how Iraq/Saddam was going to take my rights and freedom away?
Posted on October 25th, 2009 by admin
I keep hearing over and over how our soldiers are fighting to protect my rights and freedom.
So exactly how was Saddam planning on taking my rights and freedom away again?
Jason, for the Kabillionth time Iraq had nothing to do with 911, so stop with that myth ok?
I’d say that your freedom is threatened more by this administration than by Saddam. Cheap gas? Have you seen gas cheaper since we have invaded? Terrorist? Most terrorists are from Saudi Arabia, what have we done about them? This war is based on lies and we are going to pay for it for the next few decades.

You’re so naive dude. Thats easy. See gas prices are horrendous (and expected to keep rising), and we as Americans have the right to cheap gas. So with Iraq in Americas hands, we can now have cheaper gas (since we’re profiting/using Iraq’s oil for free). DUHHH

Can you say terrorism? Last I checked, dead people don’t have many rights. That’s how he was going to take them away, by cooperating with other terrorist cells around the world and conduct strikes against the US similiar to 9/11. Their plan is to not take over America, their plan is to kill Americans.

Exactly! The Revolutionary War, I’ll give you that. WW1 and 2, sure.
This doesn’t qualify as fighting for my freedom-attacking Iraq for WMD they didn’t have (and we knew that before invading!), yellowcake from Niger (I nearly choked on my tea during that speech, it was so out there), cartoons of "weapons labs" (I felt so bad for Colin Powell-doing his job, tho he didn’t quite think the way Bush did) which changed to getting rid of the dictator when the weapons didn’t pan out.
Saddam couldn’t have taken our freedom and posed no imminent threat to us. At least he could keep the country under control, lights on, water running, and could keep things from blowing up all over the place. Granted, he wasn’t the best leader, but should you really base your intel on people who got screwed by Saddam and a country that likes at any cost to keep those around it at war both to strengthen its military and to keep those countries busy so as not to bother it (Israel)??
We probably got convinced by Israel and it’s supporters/citizens at the top level (Wolfie, Feith, Perle, Cheney, etc) to attack Iraq. The Mossad has done it many times (Libya for one)- they plant false intel via a 3rd party and report to the US the same false info, so the US thinks aha we have confirmed this intel (when really it’s just a well planned Israeli charade).
There is a quote on Wiki in Feith’s page that Condi said "Thanks, Doug, but when we want Israel’s position, we’ll talk to their ambassador" or something to that effect. We’ve got many in govt advocating Israel’s position above our own interests!! Crazy!

Saddam was selling his oil directly to the providers, instead of going through the middle-men in oil companies, therefore cutting out most of the profits, which was a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
