"No man has recieved from nature the right to give orders to others. Freedom, is a gift from heaven, & every individual of the same species has the right to enjoy it as soon as he’s in enjoymnt of his reason." – Denis Diderot

Nature is very close to God. You could even say nature is the expression of God as it provides us with everything we need on this earthly plane. So this quote I think says that you have no right to order around others or go against an individueal’s free will choice. Freedom is everyone’s birth right not only sanctioned by nature but also set as a law by God. Freedom is a beautiful thing which gives you pleasure but might also give you pain and suffering if used in an unwise way.

No one has a natural right to order others around. Our right to freedom comes from Heaven and is to be enyoyed by all human kind as soon as he has reached the age of reason.
I agree with it all save the last clause. Even the demented and the imbecile has the same right to freedom. Freedom can be curtailed only when the decisions made are not in the common good. This applies to imbeciles and geniuses and all of us in between.
