What do you think about this quote from the book The Freedom Writers, what is your view?

“In class today we discussed how double standards exist for men and women. We talked about how men can get away with whatever they want, but when a female does the same thing, then she gets degraded and even dissed.”
hah yeha i agree, and i think its un fair. when we go on school camps, the boys muck up and do stupid stuff but if the girls joint in every one would just think the girs are like try hards or wanna-be’s or losers or something, its so annoying cause guys always have so much more fun, also I hate it when the girls sit on the edge of the soccer field just watching the boys play.. its like ‘go play your own soccer game you bimbos!’ but some thing its too un-ladylike to play contact sports … pfft.
