Is it ironic that Obama will sign the Freedom of Press Act today yet he has only given 47 press conferences?

while Bush had given 167 by this time in his first term?
"Freedom of Press" is Obamaspeak for limiting the free speech of the Press. When Obama signs something that sounds too good, it’s usually attached to something we don’t need and will be very costly. Obama always has something up his sleeve even when he acknowledges what the people want.

I am not sure i see the irony. President Obama’s press conferences have been far more informative than any President Bush gave

No. What does this have to do with the Act? Obama is working on issues not his ranch.

You don’t imagine it actually protects freedom of the press, do you? NO Democrat would ever sign such a thing.

since about 85% of the media donate to democratic campaign funds, I wonder what the president is freeing them to do

As I said before, a couple of months ago conservatives were complaining that Obama was saying too much, now, they get some bogus numbers (most likely by counting all White House press releases for the Bush years, and only counting the press releases given by Obama himself for his numbers) and completely reverse their complaints. Bush isn’t do nearly as many press conferences as you claim, his press secretary did. but Bush hid in a corner somewhere curled up in a fetal position clutching a bottle of JD.
