   Each county has their own Property Assessor website. Typically, you can find the information there, unless it’s a small county, then you would have to call and request info. Usually you can look up information by the address, parcel number, or owner name.

   Some counties have it available online. Just go to the county website and start looking around. If you can’t find it, try calling the county to see if you missed it or how you can access it.

   If you just want to find out what the asking price of a house is that you see for sale you can call any realtor. I just recently discovered a bunch of houses that the county where I live is taking bids on becuase they were siezed for back taxes, I was looking for something else when I discovered it, so I would recommend looking there.

   Try the site listed below. It gives all sorts of information and is a lot of fun to use. You can enter a zip code or an address and they start out by showing an aerial photo of the area. You then gradually get closer and closer. You can actually see cars in the streets. They will give a rough estimate of the value of each home. However, you can also look to see what homes have sold recently and get exact numbers. The site also shows property taxes, the size of the home, the rooms, and quite a bit more information. And the best part? You don’t have to talk to some real estate broker who will lie about everything.
