How do I get my hunter rank up in the online gathering hall on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite?

The only difference between Offline and Online is that Online you can play with your friends or other people and it doesn’t matter if you do it on offline or online since the quests you finished are same. All you have to do is beat certain missons on every rank. I can’t tell you what mission since you diidn’t put the rank you are on so if you can, contact me and I’ll tell you the missions you have to beat for that rank to get hunter rank up.

you still have to do the missions that you would have to do while in the offline gathering hall. the purpose of the online gathering hall is so you can team up with friends to do missions that one or both of you need help on, or just to have fun.
gamefaqs.com has info on monster hunter freedom unite but for right now i am using the freedom 2 quest list.

I am at hunter rank 9, the maximum rank and I beat the last monster in the gathering hall, the Ukanlos.
