How can make my parents give me more freedom in my life?

Posted on December 26th, 2009 by admin

they always tell me wat to do all of the time and im sick of it.. i <3 them.. but sometimes, it gets me really annoyed cuzz ive tried to gain more trust.. but i hasn’t worked…me and my friends and my BF were gonna go watch a movie.. but my rents were like… NOOOO… u cant.. so my whole plans were ruined…!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grow up, get a job and move out….when you’re old enough.
Until then…deal with it.

Life is full of rules, until the day you’re making your own money and don’t owe anyone anything, only then can you live by your own rules…and even then…there are still more rules.
It’s just a fact of life.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but no one owes you anything until you’ve earned it and even then, they’re under no obligation to fulfill your dreams, that’s completely up to you.

Get used to it, at least until you leave for college.

Trust is earned, and so are privileges. Some parents set the bar higher than others. It’s entirely possible there’s nothing you can do to gain more freedom from them. Those are just the facts. Some parents are very set in their ways.

Are you 18? If not, you probably don’t have much of a choice but to listen to them or run away (which I do not recommend).

When I turned 18, I still had a curfew and was still getting grounded. Then I had to rebel. I stopped listening to my mother and just left the house. This got her worried and such. Now when I ask her to do something she would rather let me go then me leave without asking.
