The freedom’s almost without inhibition but I feel like Cinderella around my house. I feel like the dog people kick out of the way to get wherever in the hell they might be going. I feel like a nuisance. References :
i pretty much grew up at boarding school, which, as u can imagine, is very, very strict. but cos the student to staff ratio is so low, sneaking out the window, running off to the city centre to play, then sleeping at the mall till morning was pretty much the norm References :
Status–"Good Child"
Good grades, read books, does homework, helps around the house.
Freedom–Pretty Good
Home by 10:30 (I’m 13), get to leave the house when I’d like as long as if I’m home by curfew, don’t have to ask if I want a friend or two to sleepover…etc.
Freedom is earned. I’ve earned mine by keeping my grades up and not being obnoxious. I don’t really have a curfew because I never went out much but for my homecoming it was midnight. I don’t have any official chores I just do what I’m told when I’m told. Most of this is from my mother, father works all the time. Thank goodness for that. My status is not great with him around. I feel useless around him. References :
