I would recommend travel while you are young, if anything happens at home you can keep in touch via the internet and letters. Even if you only go for a year the experience will be great and you won’t feel what if as you get older. Plus, you can always go home if you don’t like being away from your family.
Why not see if any of your friends are up for a jaunt around Europe? That way you’ve got company and back-up. Just don’t go for an au pair job as they are crap!

go for freedom home is always there …flap your wings a little at least you will have tried it you can always come home go there try it wear the T shirt have some fun and your options are still wide open and friends and family can always visit as you can ..go for it wish I had …..you will never be alone make new friends and family and true friends will always be there……… good luck

Do not give in to that mindset that another country is better than your own. Many have left their families and friends to taken off to live in a foreign land but they soon become disillusioned and seriously homesick. Visit the place first and stay for about a month or two before making up your mind, otherwise you mind end up very frustrated and missing your loved ones and all those nice things you've already mentioned.

I have been living abroad for 6 years now. Yes, you do miss your friends and family, however, at the beginning especially, this will be balanced out by the excitement of seeing new places, meeting new people etc.
If you stay away for a long time, you may miss out on a lot of things, and little by little you will grow apart from your closed one.
However, I do definitely reccomend an experience abroad, maybe for 1 year or so. Especially at your age. You can’t go wrong. You will meet new people, differnet ways of living and thinking, you will experience freedom. But most of all, you will discover aspects of yourself that you don’t know you have! And this you will bring home with you in the end.

freedom is not free .freeing yourself from your self is the first thing you need to do .you are holding yourself back from living your life your why .it may be abroud .it my be here. it matters not .if you are runing from boredome and what ever, you well never get away from it .it is within you not around you.stop trying to make it ok for you to live your life, live it any dame why you want and no that you cant have it all and that is ok .

HOME. There is no place on earth like home. No matter how life is tough in your country, don’t ever think that freedom and the new( maybe the better life) can replace those special people.

I was 17 when I left my country, 19 when I settled down in the new land. It’s been 4 years and I am still homesick for my country and my relatives and friends. I can’t go back to my country. It seems like the more time I live away from them, the more I miss them

Anyway, it’s your life and you get to choose. Good luck to you whither you choose home or freedom.
