i have a psp but not a ps3 and i was wondering if i can play Monster Hunter Freedon Unite online. because every time i go online noone else is online.
Am i doing something wrong or am i on the wrong server?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

The PSP Monster Hunter games use only ad-hoc to play online, which means people within… oh lets say 90 feet… can play with you. Now, if you have a PS3 you can have an ad-hoc party, but you don’t. There is also a program that allows you to play online all over the world. Monster hunter freedom: online gathering hall?

When I enter the online gathering hall my psp connects to ‘channel 1′. I’ve set my internet network to automatic and it said it was channel 5. Once I enter the online gathering hall there is no one around and there are no other quest notices.

Does anyone know how to set my internet network to channel 1?

Go to the online gathering hall. Then, go and talk to the women who is wearing red. Choose the quest you want, and make the other player that plays with you go to the quest board. You will find this board in the ride side of the reception (where the 2 women are standing). Tell the other player to press the "Square Button" on the board. And make him take the quest that you took before.

So, basically:
1: you go and talk to the red women in the reception.

2: The other player that is playing with you must go and take the same quest from the quest board.

NOTE: Every player must have their own game.

ok well im getting it soon online [yay] and i wanna know anyones ign that would want to hunt with me im in grank already i use greatsword .. my ign is omar-san, so please post ur ign if you would want to hunt with me.

In order to play MHFU online you will need a PS3 to download Ad Hoc Party and play it on there. Originally, MHFU has no infrastructure capabilities. So you have to find other means to play with people, like AHP or Xlink Kai (which you need a computer, Wifi Max card, and an extreme amount of patience for).

I have to write a paper about this and can’t decide my opinoin. Do you think Schools should limit students freedom of speech online (Outside of school) for the common good? Or should they protect students individual right to freedom of speech? And why? Thanks

yes they should limit students freedom of speech online to an extent. Schools should not have complete control over what kids say but in some occasions, it is very necessary. Children have completed suicide due to cyber bullying so yes, schools should definitely limit students freedom of speech when it is dramatically affecting the lives of other students and preventing them from getting a normal education. When it comes to cursing and joking around, kids should have more freedom.

In monster hunter freedom, how does the quest scale with the number of people. ex. 2 people online?

Im Playing monster hunter freedom and im wondering if 2x people online effects the difficulty of quest. Or would be better to get 4. and also how do you connect with people not in your house or near you.

As far as i know they dont get more difficult the difficulty depends on the star rating of the quest. Go to the gathering hall to meet people.

It’s only wireless, so you have to be within ~30 feet of each other. Once you’ve got friends over, go to the Online Guild Hall (forget the exact name, my PSP isn’t charged.) If you’re on the same wireless channel (changed in the PSP settings) you will see them in your guild hall and vice versa.

Its a great game playing alone.. but will I always have to play with my friends in the same room or is sony going to make a way for us to play online.

You can play online using x-link kai (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/)
or using Ad-Hoc party on a PS3.

And I don’t mean local, I’m talking wifi worldwide multiplayer.

Depending where you live you can access a program on your ps3 called Ad Hoc Party to connect to others online. But I think it is only available in Japan.

The game was made to bo played with a friend offline but by downloading xlink kai you can connect to anyone that plays monster hunter freedom 1 and 2
