In America we ALL have the exact same freedom to choose what path we take in life, why are the successful puni?

Posted on November 5th, 2010 by admin

shed for choosing a good path and doing well for themselves? Doesn’t this discourage success? We should all pay exactly the same rate of taxes since we ALL had the freedom to choose what we become in life…..

Hi I am successful and I am not punished for it. Being poor is way harder. This Republican fantasy land of entitlements is a lie designed by those with something to gain and perpetuated by the ignorant and naive. Life is hard and making it in America is tough.

We should not all pay the same taxes. In fact taxing direct labor is unethical and defies the spirit of our constitution and social contract. Income taxes on direct labor or earned income is wrong. While tax on graduated income necessary if we are to finance the system which such income relies on to exist. Without a common currency and forum for creating market rules – there are no corporations. A progressive tax is the only way to alleviate the unfair social burden on our labor class. They should not be taxed at all. But so long as they are – then they should be taxed considerably less. A group of people with 10% of the nations wealth shouldering 75% of the responsibility is a travesty. I am well aware that such common sense principals escape conservatives completely. But perhaps some independent thinkers will read this question and understand my meaning.

I wonder if any conservative responders are going to use personal slanders as the basis for their response.

Where is the tolerance in the Muslim world for OUR way of life which includes freedom of expression?

Posted on November 2nd, 2010 by admin

We seem to be hearing about the need for our tolerance of Muslims to build a mosque at Ground Zero, of our need for tolerance for their religious beliefs and opinions.

OK. So where is the tolerance on their part for OUR way of life which includes a pastor’s right to freely express himself by burning a Koran?

I’m hearing of protests in Muslim countries, our flag being burned, of threats of violence if he goes ahead with his plans.

Is tolerance just a one-way street???

They have ZERO tolerance of anybody that does not fit in with their koran outside. In the muslims mind of minds, if you are NOT a muslim, you deserve to die! Period!

Now what gets me is the fact that the far left has twisted the truth! They twisted the fact that the muslims, or the religion of islam is a culture! This is the very same people that has screamed at Christians, and now the Jewish, that have been screaming "separation of Church and state" (which by the way is NOT mentioned in the Constitution of The United States of America, nor in The Bill of Rights! Not even in The Declaration of Independence!) ever since the "Scopes Monkey Trial" of the 1930’s

You talk about the muslims burning flags in their countries, let’s not forget about the "tolerance loving" hypocrite liberals who do this in the name of "freedom of expression" and then the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) call it a work!

ATTN Liberals! Hey, would you call it art if I were to stick a picture of mohamed in a glass of urine and put it on display? ! ! I would say it is art! Just like you said it is art when you have a picture of Christ in a glass of urine. You value your foot soldier of mohamed. . . That is until you have no use for them. Truth hurts don’t it!

Why is it honorable to sacrifice your life for your country’s freedom, but not to sacrifice your money.?

Posted on October 31st, 2010 by admin

The GOP is all gung-ho when it comes to our military men and women who sacrifice their lives for our freedoms but when asked to sacrifice their money thru taxation for people to get true freedom from ignorance and poverty it’s a different story.

AMERICA’S ARMED FORCES ARE FULL OF VOLUNTEERS!

I never volunteered to pay taxes. I was forced to.

EDIT: Holy crap is the ignorance in this country astounding!

Do you feel the freedom of life?

Posted on October 29th, 2010 by admin

I do :) cause I graduated from highschool (yr 12) yesterday!!
Now its just my HSC exams and then I’m freeeeeeeee until uni ^_^
reverential: you must have a sad life.
there is freedom even in the acceptance that we must die, yet i believe we are reborn again hence freedom is a continuating experience at different times during one’s life.

Freedom in life is not absolute, even we follow the necessary rules, obligatory.

Have you ever gotten out of a bad relationship and felt that beautiful air of life and freedom?

Posted on October 26th, 2010 by admin

If yes, then can you describe how you felt?

Yes. Cried a few tears then washed my face, looked in the mirror and smiled. Then went into action. Two weeks later I was in a new City with new surroundings and I blossomed like a beautiful rose. Best thing I could have ever done. Victory!

Ran into the guy that caused the tears 21 years ago. He saw me and was in awe, he got out of his car and walked toward me, I couldn’t recognize him until he got closer (new glasses). He said, " it’s (his name) and I heard you were in New York, I said, "I was," pivoted turning away from him and walking away. It felt good.

Independent India: How can we preserve the golden freedom got by severe blood sheds and life sacrifices?

Posted on October 24th, 2010 by admin

Indians got the freedom from British by means of hard earned sacrifices of many freedom fighters. There are many who shed their blood and sacrificed their life for the sake of pour country.

But, few incidents seem that many are tired of being free.

Few people always use to comment that we would have been in a better position under the colonial rule.

What is the possibility that they would have been free under the rule?

their is only one way to preserve Independence By:
always fighting against corruption.

corruption is the mother of all problems like poverty, injustice, delay in judicial system…..etc.
i am not saying to every indian to initiate a revoulotion against corruption.
i am asking them to neer Be corroupt, and dont allow any one to Be corroupt with you.

@ indians who comment that we would have been in a better position under the colonial rule.
you should Be treated like dogs.Because i think you like it.
dont you remember the sign bords outside cinema halls, resturants….etc in colonial india saying — dogs and indians are not allowed.

Is the path to freedom obtained through finding and following the best guidelines/rules for life ?

Posted on October 21st, 2010 by admin

It can seem ironic that freedom is found via
following rules and guidelines, yet that seems to be the case,
depending on what guidelines are followed and that
good discipline and character actually brings freedom.

What do you think?

For example, freedom obtained through following guidelines
such as the golden rule, love your neighbor as yourself,
do not steel, do not kill, etc. and these things then
bring the most rewards, trust from others, long-term
freedom, and health in life (mental, physical and
spiritual health).

I agree with that to an extent.

While it is true that following certain guidlines can bring you happiness and freedom, you must never forget your need for freedom from them at times.

One also needs to consider rebellious people. A rebel is a slave to his or her rebellion, just like a conformer is a slave to conformity. That which they rebel against must always exist, or their function no longer matters.

We are slaves to our true natures. As we grow, we do not change, but slowly become more like ourselves. …if that makes any sense.

How is freedom defined in your life as you live it as opposed to the thought of freedom within your mind ?

Posted on June 14th, 2010 by admin

Have you reconciled the two? So that your life is an outward expression of that which you think, and know , or are you constrained by lack of ability, knowledge or circumstances…?

When you say the thought of freedom in our minds, I think of the huge array of thoughts flittering by our minds every minute, and we’re not often free to choose what enters our mind. In that way we’re not free if we can’t control the incoming input. Freedom in life comes from the thoughts that guide our choices.
