What makes liberals want to micromanage everyone’s life? Why has freedom gradually diminished since 1776?

Posted on March 29th, 2012 by admin

I feel like the general trend in our country is that freedom has gradually diminished since independence. We were really free to start off with but over time things like income taxes, tens of thousands of federal laws, a welfare state, and many many other things have got in the way. Why do liberals want this?

After their profligate spending, the micromanaging of individuals is what ticks me off to no end. Go Libertarian and dump both of these parties that are screwing you big time,

Whats more important to you: Freedom or Life?

Posted on February 8th, 2012 by admin

So you choose the freedom of choice over a babies life?

Freedom. No point in being alive if you aren’t free

Over a baby’s life? – no

Over a first trimester fetus? – you bet

When is it ok to lie, and where does the right to freedom, life, and liberty begin?

Posted on November 20th, 2011 by admin

I have to due an essay about lying. When does the obligation to tell the truth end and when is lying justified, for such as reasons stated in the question. I need to integrate THE CRUCIBLE into my essay and possibly some other literary examples. Can anyone help me?

IDK…..but I think if the person is responsible for their actions, then that would suffice for all your conditions.

How does freedom of press make life better?

Posted on October 6th, 2011 by admin

just some ideas,
and what are some things that we can do in america that are simple things involving freedom of press but you cant do in other countries or you’ll be punished.
THANXXXXXXX soooo much

Years ago, the press was unbiased and really helped the people know the truth and the whole story with the facts. That allowed the people to make good logical decisions. That is the reason for a free press. What we have today is the main stream media (CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, MS-NBC, etc.) have all been taken over by liberals and their reporting is biased and nothing but propaganda for Democrats.

Are Atheists experiencing more freedom in life as compared to Theists ?

Posted on September 7th, 2011 by admin

Is freedom joy ?

freedom can bring joy, but that is not the point. Being free is the ability to make your own decisions. When you are enslaved by sin, you have your decisions made for you.

does anyone know a nice quote on freedom, family, life and wisdom please let me know i?

Posted on July 17th, 2011 by admin

i will rewar 10 points to the person who finds me a good quote for each …. family, freedom, life, wisdom

Family:

The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life. Richard Bach

Freedom:

Freedom is not free.

Life:

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

Wisdom:

Wisdom is not a product of schooling, but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it.

If freedom day from futurama existed in real life? How would you celebrate it?

Posted on May 17th, 2011 by admin

For those who have neve watched Futurama before. Freedom day is the one day of the year where everyone on Earth can do whatever the hell they want without fear of any consequence whether social or enforced by law.

Personally I would celebrate by throwing a naked hot tub orgy and then set a junkyard on fire at 10 am.

I’d eat the American flag.

How does Fundamental Freedom [under the Canadian Charter] affect one’s quality of life?

Posted on March 5th, 2011 by admin

So, in other words, without this Right, how would it affect your quality of life? [ie. freedom of expression, freedom to be able to associate with anyone] Please help, and thank you very much. :)
Edit : What would it be like back then and now, the present, with and without this Right?

Unlike the first ten Amendments to the United States constitution the Canadian Charter is subject to
the notwithstanding clause which authorizes governments to temporarily override the rights and freedoms for up to five years, subject to renewal.

Correct me if I’m wrong but hasn’t Quebec still refused to ratify the 1982 Constitution that you are referring to?
