Freedom Ride

The sort of people I want to come to my group are the sort who have felt chained all their lives but because of Jesus have found freedom either, spiritually, financially, morally, physically, emotionally or mentally. So I want one word that I can call my group that sums up all of that – freedom or something similar. But it has to be easy to say and pronounce too. Thanks
I know I don’t have to use a Hebrew name but I want to. I do have an English bible and I could call my group an English name but I want to use a Hebrew name.

So far I’ve thought Tehillah is a beautiful name – it means ‘Praise’
It has to be a beautiful word please not one that will sound strange when I say it – I live on a council estate!

It is a statement about anarchy, and it is wrong. It is only under a very limited "government by the consent of the governed" that we can have freedom–from the force imposed by people who are not otherwise stopped except by laws and by the force of a state.

Without such a limited government we have the "freedom" to be vigilantes seeking retribution because there is no state to seek justice for us. Whooops, I mean, we have NO freedom because we must spend our spare time protecting our families and our values and our valuables from predators and from the force they use against us. We would be back in a "state of nature" that nature never intended for Man. Nature gave Man a rational mind, and that is the reason that Patrick Henry, James Madison, and a few others would not sign the Constitution until the Ninth Amendment was added saying that we retained all the freedoms nature gave us, that just because the Constitution didn’t say we had this-or-that freedom, that we didn’t have it. We did, and the Ninth protects them. The Tenth gives us the right to use them.

Have you reconciled the two? So that your life is an outward expression of that which you think, and know , or are you constrained by lack of ability, knowledge or circumstances…?

When you say the thought of freedom in our minds, I think of the huge array of thoughts flittering by our minds every minute, and we’re not often free to choose what enters our mind. In that way we’re not free if we can’t control the incoming input. Freedom in life comes from the thoughts that guide our choices.

what do my freedom of speach rights consist of..can i message someone saying anything i want as long as its not a thret or i dont continue messageing them (i know that would be harassment)?can i say anything in public to anyone aslong as its not a thret?

There is no such thing as "Freedom of Speach."

I would suggest that you Google the phrase "First Amendment" and actually read what is says about free speech.

The short answer is no. Free speech does not give you the right to say whatever you want with no consequences. You’ve mentioned threats and harassment. There is also disorderly conduct, inciting a riot, defamation, and a whole host of other potential consequences.
