How does dependency on government programs lead an individual to freedom?

Posted on March 24th, 2010 by admin

as recognized in the Constitution?

Is there a new group of representatives that has missed the point of freedom?

It’s not that they’ve missed the point, it’s that they reject the premise of individual freedom under Natural Law.

Washington DC is currently controlled by Progressives, not Classical Liberals. Classical Liberals are ardent defenders of individual freedom in all cases. The only party that remotely adheres to that philosophy is the Libertarian Party.

Progressivism is predicated on the flawed notion that the human species can be perfected. They rely heavily on the philosophies of Thomas Hobbes and Karl Marx in asserting that man is inherently at war with others on economic and social matters and requires the politician to control them. Life is a natural right. Liberty is only guaranteed to the extent that the state permits and private property does not exist. Think about that notion for a minute. How can you carry out a strategy that forces a single form of perfection of individuals who see themselves as autonomous, rational, independent people?

The US is built on the premise that humanity, by virtue of its existence, is endowed with 3 Natural Rights. Those are life, liberty, and private property. Life is self explanatory. Liberty is the freedom to apply your life to the world around you or in the service of others. For that application an individual is compensated with private property that is equivalent in their determination to the portion of their life an liberty that they gave in exchange. According to the principles of our founding, government was created by free people to protect those 3 rights. It cannot take a single step beyond protection without infringing on and violating those rights in favor of one over another. While not mandatory, this line of thinking is consistent with Judeo-Christian values and ideas about God, heaven, and the fallibility and free will of man. It embraces man’s free will and permits its absolute exercise so long as it does not infringe on others. Man’s free exercise of his free will in concert with every other individual’s free exercise of their free will leads to order and prosperity. It denies unlimited control to politicians as an acknowledgment that they are merely human.

Progressivism is premised on the idea that an enlightened few can lead the population to perfection on Earth. While not essential, a rejection of religion generally accompanies such political beliefs. The essential underlying premise is that government, or rather the enlightened governing class, is the source of prosperity for a nation. Man’s free exercise of his free will in concert with every other individual’s free exercise of their free will leads to disorder and destruction. Therefore, the politician (who is apparently not subject to the same flaws as the common man because of social status, education, and superior breeding) must direct society in a way that leads it away from its own destruction.

There are always those who resist being led. Free people don’t like to be told they have to do something, particularly when what they are being told to do makes absolutely no sense to anyone except the Progressive politicians in charge. The easiest way to stifle resistance is with a totalitarian central government, virtually unconnected to local individuals. It is far easier to treat those individuals as parts of the machine rather than freely thinking individual human beings with their own free will. This is not unique to modern ages. Every strong central authority in history has adopted parts, if not all, of this ideology. It is the specific reason why the founders sought to limit the federal government to a small number of explicitly enumerated powers. Oddly enough, those who still buy into the rhetoric of Democrat and Republican politicians actually believe the two parties have divergent end goals. Hopefully they wake up before its to late to realize that the argument is really between free people and Progressive politicians.

Monster hunter freedom: online gathering hall?

Posted on March 20th, 2010 by admin

When I enter the online gathering hall my psp connects to ‘channel 1′. I’ve set my internet network to automatic and it said it was channel 5. Once I enter the online gathering hall there is no one around and there are no other quest notices.

Does anyone know how to set my internet network to channel 1?

Thank you for your time.

Go to the online gathering hall. Then, go and talk to the women who is wearing red. Choose the quest you want, and make the other player that plays with you go to the quest board. You will find this board in the ride side of the reception (where the 2 women are standing). Tell the other player to press the "Square Button" on the board. And make him take the quest that you took before.

So, basically:
1: you go and talk to the red women in the reception.

2: The other player that is playing with you must go and take the same quest from the quest board.

NOTE: Every player must have their own game.

Could you be happy if all you had were friends, freedom and an analysed life?

Posted on March 20th, 2010 by admin

According to the philosopher Epicurus, that’s all that anyone needs to be happy. Would you agree?

…no, Epicurus doesn’t live in the 21st century, "show me the money" and i’ll be happier…

Articles breaking the charter of rights and freedom?

Posted on March 19th, 2010 by admin

I am looking for Canadian articles related to breaking the charter of rights and freedom and also can be related to the holocaust. I’ve look through many sites but struggled. I couldn’t find anything. It should be recent but it can be like in 2001 as longs as it is not 2 years after the holocaust ended.

Since the Charter if Rights and Freedoms dates to 1982, and the Holocaust ended in 1945, I think any articles you find will be fine.

The Charter obviously never applied to the Holocaust, I presume what you’re seeking is references to people like Ernst Zundl, a well know Holocaust denier and Zionist conspiracy advocate who fought his charges of inciting hatred by use of the Charter right to freedom of expression. You can also try searching for Doug Christie, his lawyer and that of several of other anti-semites.

why do you value your life/freedom/free will?

Posted on March 11th, 2010 by admin

Why do you value your life?
Why do you value your freedom?
Why do you value your free will?
i need some reasons that i can turn into a 10 minute presentation, i have a couple already but the only other reason i can think of is "just because"

I value life because its a hell of a lot better than death. Plus living is the only time you feel.
Freedom is important because without it you don’t have control of yourself. Also without freedom, everyone would be sick of life and everyone would be the same. Free will is important because it allows you to make your own choices and it is the best teacher in the world. If you are just told that something is a bad choice then you won’t ever learn for yourself.

Posted on March 7th, 2010 by admin

ok well im getting it soon online [yay] and i wanna know anyones ign that would want to hunt with me im in grank already i use greatsword :D .. my ign is omar-san, so please post ur ign if you would want to hunt with me.

In order to play MHFU online you will need a PS3 to download Ad Hoc Party and play it on there. Originally, MHFU has no infrastructure capabilities. So you have to find other means to play with people, like AHP or Xlink Kai (which you need a computer, Wifi Max card, and an extreme amount of patience for).

Should schools limit students right to freedom of speech online?

Posted on March 5th, 2010 by admin

I have to write a paper about this and can’t decide my opinoin. Do you think Schools should limit students freedom of speech online (Outside of school) for the common good? Or should they protect students individual right to freedom of speech? And why? Thanks :)

yes they should limit students freedom of speech online to an extent. Schools should not have complete control over what kids say but in some occasions, it is very necessary. Children have completed suicide due to cyber bullying so yes, schools should definitely limit students freedom of speech when it is dramatically affecting the lives of other students and preventing them from getting a normal education. When it comes to cursing and joking around, kids should have more freedom.

Do you support the freedom to home school children. Yes or No and why?

Posted on March 5th, 2010 by admin

I am a homeschooling parent. My child has always been home schooled. Her SAT scores are far above any public school child of her age.She is now a teen and in the 9th grade already on a college level term.

Every State requires the Child to have testing done , every year .Some allow a child and their parent or teacher to submit a Portfolio, with all their work and tests and curriculum’s to a professional teacher who is appointed by the State to over see that portfolio and to make sure the child is doing what the State requires .

The SAT tests are performed and done by someone other than the parent and is submitted to the testing facility for scoring and then the results are given to the parent/teacher to take to their States Board of Education for proof of child’s education and its results.

people claim home schooled children are not sociable. That is not true, my child has friends and they participate in what they desire. But for my child she rather not interact with allot of people cause of their behavior. She is already superior in selection and maturity to her actions and their results and consequences. Unlike most public school children who are by that system taught its ok as long as it feels good. And that is where we have a problem with Public schools .It is not student friendly nor is it about a child’s education, but a child being molded to believe whatever that system requires .

My child has options and is allowed to receive Both sides of the story as it were to make up their own mind to what is correct and what is not based on facts and evidence and Historical data. Not what someone says and that’s what you have to do or like or obey without being given BOTH sides of the matter .
Science for example , in public schools demands everything the scientist and the government agenda says must be true and taught as facts without evidence and without question and or debate.
Home schooling allows every one to give their child Both sides of the matter and the facts and evidence to conclude by common sense and value what is True and what is not .
That’s why statistics show home schooled children demonstrate a higher learning ability and have a higher employment value and actual employment is higher than public school system attendees.

Even colleges have learned that children who are allowed to take classes on line at home and to direct their own paths to gain the knowledge and required classes to their curriculum learn faster and at a higher rate then those who are at school participants . The college life is now about the party and the fun and the if it feels good agenda , again , rather than the students learning and becoming higher trained citizens and with the skill set to produce the industrial minded technology of the 21st Century .That’s why public schools are now scrambling to gain more access to the online and home studies agenda !!

Here in my state they are trying to pass laws to raise the age of being able to drop out of school , cause the levels of public school drop outs have tripled. And also in one entire county they got rid of the administrator and replaced them and have taken the schools over and out of the hands of the School board. Also i read in another state where in one school this year is the last year for every teacher in it , and they all are going to be replaced cause of the failure of education in that school.
NOt sure where it was ,it was a story online a few weeks ago .

SO with all that said….its plain to see how the Private and especially the Home schooling, is the best way to go for any child if its possible for the parent to do so .

And parents it doesn’t have to be a trained teacher with some big degree or someone like public schools who are about getting paid not teaching kids.It takes common sense to be a teacher not a degree of years of study to draw a paycheck, and call yourselves any better then any parent who loves their kids
Anyone you know who has the time and the ability to read and count can teach your child everything they need to know and far above any public school teacher with simple basic skills and the desire to do so . All it takes is TLC and the simple cheap home schooling curriculum’s that are online, at your local Board of education or one like the school of tomorrow, or any accredited school curriculum providers !!
